rugbyremembers Posted 5 December , 2009 Posted 5 December , 2009 I am posting names that have not been specifically posted before, although helpful and observant members of the Forum have found them on the Rugby Remembers website and supplied me with some snippets. I hope to harness the collective power of the Forum to build on the files I have on these men. You may wish to visit the site at www.rugbyremembers.co.uk to see what I have already. Kings Caterbury documents him quite well and I have CWGC and Times Obit. Keen on anything on his medical training at Barts, and the action in which he died at Boezinghe with the 1st Bn Rifles (next to PCB Blair of Cambridge and Scotland). Also on his younger brother Thomas Juckes 2/Lt with 2nd Royal Sussex who died at Richebourg-Avoue on May 9th 1915. Many thanks
Hambo Posted 5 December , 2009 Posted 5 December , 2009 I think you have the details of the astion he died in on your original post a while ago http://1914-1918.invisionzone.com/forums/i...uckes&st=25 Did his brother Thomas play for the Park too? I have photos of tham both aged about 18 which I can dig out and a bio of Thomas well if you're interested JOhn
rugbyremembers Posted 5 December , 2009 Author Posted 5 December , 2009 No evidence of Thomas playing for Park, although his older brother was clearly an excellent player. I am interested in his brother as many have suggested I turn this project into a book, so my scope is broadening. Both photos and bio of Thomas would be of great interest. And yes, looking back you did provide me with details of the action. Sorry, research overload setting in.... Many thanks
