Andrew P Posted 5 May , 2004 Share Posted 5 May , 2004 Hi I'm looking for information on a Fremantle person who was studying medicine at Edinburgh University at the outbreak of war. Surgeon Probationer Robert Walker was killed on HMS Shark during the battle of Jutland and am just wondering if the book of the Edinburgh University Honour Roll has any information on him. Andrew P Posted 5 May , 2004 Author Share Posted 5 May , 2004 Thanks for that information & photo Dick, that was a very quick response. In the book on Fremantle people in WW1 that I'm working on, I'm hoping to expand on his story. As most of my material is on soldiers in the AIF I want to write about Walker and a couple of others who served in the British forces.
