Post-1921 officers’ service records

I am about to apply for an officer’s service record where his service ended post-1921, with his son’s consent. I just wanted to check that I will get a photocopy or scan of the full file rather than the typed outline of service that they used to provide for the WW1 records.

When I got my Grandfather's a few years ago I got a full scan of all the file, about 12 pages IIRC.

Simon you will get a full service record of all they have ,not a summary but its depends on what records they have as to what you get 5 pages you get 5 pages etc 10 for 10 and so on .Its a lucky dip at best 50/50 for 5 or 20 pages

hopefully its your 50% and you get 20 pages
