Ewing75 Posted 27 November , 2009 Posted 27 November , 2009 I'm trying to find out information concerning my Great Grandfather's time in the services. His name was "Frederick William Stuart", born in 1893 East Riding Yorkshire, so would have been of fighting age during WW1. The only other nugget of information I have is a rather interesting picture of him, which I'm hoping one of you chaps might be able to provide some information about? Sincere thanks in advance for any help offered.
Northern Soul Posted 27 November , 2009 Posted 27 November , 2009 He was a marine. You can download his Register of Service here: Documents Online Best wishes. Andy.
Graham Stewart Posted 27 November , 2009 Posted 27 November , 2009 Can't rely on the Broderick to date Royal Marines as they continued to wear it up to the outbreak and even during the early months of the Great War.
