2nd Battalion Gordon Highlanders

Hi folks - any information on the 2nd Gordon Highlanders?

I'm trying to research a soldier with the battalion - Pte. Alexander Duncan, Reg. Number 173

His grandson found his WW1 Trio of medals - including the 1914 Mons Star - and would like to know a bit more.

Any Histories of the Gordon's / War Diaries or related material out there?

There is a regimental history of the Gordon's in the Great War. "The Life of a Regiment- Vol.4 The Gordon Highlanders in the First World War" by Cyril Falls.
