Help needed to locate details of NZ Soldier, World War II

Off topic I know but am searching for a website that will assist in locating Service Details of Rifleman Hugh McCreadie, 2nd NZEF (born 29 Apr 1902, Ardrossan, Ayrshire died 08 Aug 1957, Dunedin, NZ).

I am applying for his Service Record. The Application Form requests Service No., Period of Service, Regiment/Battalion/Unit - all unknown .
