sajackr Posted 23 November , 2009 Author Posted 23 November , 2009 David, Thank you very much for your time and information. Can I ask why you think I should read Guernsey for Germany? It would be ironic if it was the later! Thanks once again Regards Jack

Guest amandajanestrong Posted 4 December , 2009 Posted 4 December , 2009 Hello Jack I have just joined Great War Forum, and read your post on 23rd Nov, ref Samuel & Ernest Frank Trim. Samuel was my Great Great Grandfather. I understand that he is your Great Grandfather, I wondered how you are related to him? Samuels son William Trim was my great grandfather. Any information you have would be great, as I have recently started researching the Trim Family Tree. I have gone back to 1841, but have quite a few 'blanks'! Regards Amanda.
Boreenatra Posted 5 December , 2009 Posted 5 December , 2009 Jack & Amanda You have probably looked at this but if not it may be of help http://www.1911census.co.uk/search/results4.aspx?x=134079044 Put in * in the first field, Trim in the second and Somerset in the third. The Walter John Trim in the Military (last but one) may be interesting. Regards Steve

sajackr Posted 2 February , 2010 Author Posted 2 February , 2010 Hi Amanda, I have not been ignoring your post only saw it today, whilst browsing. Tried to PM you but it appears that is not available to you. I'm not into Family trees, but have an interest in WWI. Don't have a great deal on the family but would be glad to help if I can? Contactable "edited" Regards JackR
