Labour Corps medal roll look up help

I downloaded the MIC of a friends grandfather who was in the RFA. It states he was in the Labour Corps as well and is on the Labour Corps medal roll but his medals are clearly impressed with RFA. Is this usual? Can some kindly soul please do a look up on the rolls for any further information? 178229 (RFA) 451672 (LC) Bmr Henry BUCKLAND.

As RFA was the unit when he first entered a War Theatre that is what is stamped on the medals. The LC being his last unit at the time the process of medal issue was begun had the responsibility of listing and issuing them.
