susan kitchen Posted 11 November , 2009 Share Posted 11 November , 2009 Hurray for Ian Hislop. Although i've read many books on the War and read about the Canadians, Australians and New Zealanders i really didn't know too much about the African, Indian etc soldiers that fought with us. None of the books i've read gave too much information, about these soldiers. Perhaps i read the wrong books. But thanks to Ian Hislops wonderful, informative programme " Not Forgotten " which was on Tele the other night, that's been put right. Susan. There's a couple of threads on it; you may want to add your own thoughts. http://1914-1918.invisionzone.com/forums/i...howtopic=136552 http://1914-1918.invisionzone.com/forums/i...howtopic=136291
