Hi MC

Serbian White Eagle 5th Class with Swords, 162 awarded to the military & 8 to civilians.

As I have said before any gazetted foreign award for WW1 is Rare.

Nice group with a lovely looking award.

Hi MC

Not sure what you want to know so will take a stab

LG 7.10.1919 P12403 Maj A/Lt/Col Alan George Eden RFA

http://www.london-gazette.co.uk/issues/315...pplements/12403

Number gazetted 5322 as single awards, not including awarded 2 or 3 times or with attachments.

Still rarer than MC's & possibly DSO's (not sure on this, do not quote me)
