Hi Folks

My mate has just got his Grandfather and Gt Grandfathers MIC's from the NA's but he is struggling with searching Ancestry for Service records.

Could I ask if someone with a bit of experience could look to see if there are service records for 8301 Pte James Snow HLI arrived F&F 18/12/1914 and his Son 57290 later 77748 Pte James Snow HLI?

Both men lived in Coatbridge, Lanark, both survived the War, Senior has the 15 Star trio but is listed in "Coatbridge and the Great War" as 4th Bn which was a training Bn, Junior has the Victory and War pair and is listed in the book as 18th Bn.

If their Records are on Ancestry could someone please post a link to them and I'll pass them on?

Thanks

Sam

I have just searched Snow for you in the 1914-20 service records section and unfortunately there is nothing. I will have a look at pension records too

Sorry not having any luck for you other than the MICs which you already have.
