MENTION IN DESPATCHES?

Attached is hopefully a readable MIC (front and rear) which apprears to show the award of a Mention in Despatches, but I cant find any reference on the Gazette online?

Can anyone help or advise?

Cannot see any mention of MID on the card, am I reading it wrong ? Ralph.

As I understand it, it is the "EM" on the front and the words "entitled to the emblem" on the rear of the card?

Just got it to load. Not the correct man.

Looks like the "W" has been entered after original name penned.

There is an "entyman" HERE but I can't get the PDF to load for some reason.

I got excited, but it was the Commissioning of an H.E. Twentyman in April 1921.

MID or is the communication refering to a 1914 bar?

Shouldn't be a "bar" as issued with a 1914-15. In my experience, limited as it is, "Emblem" usually means MID?
