SteveMarsdin Posted 26 October , 2009 Posted 26 October , 2009 Good afternoon All, Just back from the French National Cemetery at Noyers-Pont-Maugis, near Sedan, where there are 12 CWGC commemorations ( 8 WW1 and 4 WW2). The WW2 are all RAF from 218 Squadron flying from Suippes, killed on 14/05/1940; the WW1 are: Crabb, William Henry - 7th Battalion, The Buffs (East Kent Regiment), died 14/07/1918 Gamble, Leonard Arthur - 2nd Battalion, Durham Light Infantry, died 26/07/1918 Hutchinson, Ralph - 8th Battalion, Leicestershire Regiment, died 15/07/1918 Jackson, Ernest - 6th Battalion, South Wales Borderers, died 16/07/1918 McCauley, Alexander - 2nd Battalion, Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers, died 16/07/1918 Norwood, James - 7th Battalion, Royal Fusiliers, died 22/07/1918 Williams, Stanley Esdras -36th Battalion, Australian Infantry, AIF, died 01/05/1918 Willmott, David - 7th Battalion, Somerset Light Infantry, died 05/05/1918 From a previous request I have supplied a photo of Williams' headstone to the Australian War Graves archive but I also have photos of the other 7 if anyone should require them ?
