CROONAERT Posted 25 February , 2003 Share Posted 25 February , 2003 Slightly odd question this, but I'm trying to map out the final moments in the life of a soldier I'm researching and this information would help. Could anyone tell me the exact position(s) of the British front line (using grid references from trench map 28 SW2 if possible) around Wytschaete between 9am and 3pm on 7th June 1917? I know where it was before the battle started and have an idea where it was at the end of the day,it's the area between these specific times that are important to me. Thanks. Dave. CROONAERT Posted 28 February , 2003 Author Share Posted 28 February , 2003 As an add on to my question- Does anyone have a trench map (probably a "secret" edition) of this area at around this date that shows the British communication trenches leading from "Boardman Trench" (see my previous post) to the British frontline? If so,would it be possible for you to send me a scan of this part? Thanks, Dave.
