The details I have are George Goodall Cpl SD/2918 died 08/02/1916 that was befor they left for France on the 5th of March. Question is can anyone tell me how he died? Regards Roger. Esskay Posted 21 October , 2009 Share Posted 21 October , 2009 If you are not "into" family history this is just to let you know - the death cert can be ordered online for GBP7.00 via - http://www.gro.gov.uk/gro/content/certificates/ There are 5 death registrations in England for George Goodall's in the Mar quarter of 1916 - 1 is 80, another is 73 and another is 2 - all up north - there is a 48 year old George H registered in Birkenhead - but you (and CWGC) don't mention a middle name/initial - so unless you think the age is completely out - it's likely to be Goodall George (aged) 45 registered in Petersfield (Hampshire) vol 2c page 223 Hope it answers your question Cheers Sue Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
