With the 41st Division,

September--Lys & Ypres--Advanced to Wytschaete & Advanced from Kortewilde to Comines.

October 14/18th--Courtrai---Advanced from Gheluwe through Courtrai

October 19/20th--Crossed the River Lys & advanced to Knokke

October 25/26th--Captured Avelghem.

There is an excellent book written about 20 DLI called 'Wearside Pals' by John Sheen.

When I'm back home I'll have a look in my copy.
