cockney tone Posted 19 October , 2009 Share Posted 19 October , 2009 Ladies & Gents, Pal's, just thought that I would post a picture of this little gem of a Cemetery. It is in the middle of a field at the rear of a few scattered buildings and only half an hours drive from Calais if anybody is passing or you have time to pass waiting for your ferry. Regards and best wishes, Scottie.
Thorny Posted 22 October , 2009 Share Posted 22 October , 2009 Thanks for sharing Scottie. A small but powerful reminder of soldiers sacrifice.
cockney tone Posted 22 October , 2009 Author Share Posted 22 October , 2009 Thorny, thank you for your comment, by the dates of death shown I suspect that many of these brave men died post war in the dangerous work of Battlefield clearance and then the flu epedemic! Welcome to the Forum, Regards, Scottie.
