Anyone know where Hydepark corner is in France ?

My Father was there from 26-6-17 to 4-7-17. I can't find it anywhere,

I would also like to know why it was given that name ?

Graham.

Are you sure it is in France ?

There is a HPC near Ploegsteert, but that is in Flanders (Belgium).

(South of Ypres)

South of "Y" Ravine, which is south of Beaumont Hamel.

A whole lot of locations in the area given London names such as the Strand, Hyde Park Corner, Somerset House, Charing Cross, Regent Street,Oxford and Picadilly Circuses. CO in that area was once a certain W S Churchill but before your father's time there.
