Maxsparky Posted 16 October , 2009 Share Posted 16 October , 2009 Can anyone add further information regarding Private John Skelly of the US Army, American Expditionary Force. Shown as Killed in Action on Presbyterian Roll of Honour for Ireland. He was connected to Drumlee Presbyterian Church. He is shown as living at 1 Gargary, Ballyward, Banbridge on the 1911 Census aged 16years. His father Robert was a widower with five children. His name is inscribed on the War Memorial of Rathfriland. I have found no listing on the The American Battle Monuments Commission (ABMC) site for this soldier.
museumtom Posted 16 October , 2009 Share Posted 16 October , 2009 He is not listed in Soldiers of the Great War, the USA version of SDGW. The only John is a Lieut. Regards. Tom.
