Graves in Berkshire Cemetery Extension of Riflemen No C12390 William Crossley and No C12391 Leonard Crossley 21st Battalion Kings Royal Rifle Corps killed in action on the 30th June 1916. Brothers born in Wheldrake Yorkshire enlisting together in Thirsk landing in France on the 4th May 1916 and were killed probably by the same shell, the Battalion being in reserve between Creslow and Touquet Berthe Farms to the West of Messines Ridge In Memory of Rifleman W CROSSLEY C/12390, 21st Bn., King's Royal Rifle Corps who died on 30 June 1916 Remembered with honour BERKS CEMETERY EXTENSION In Memory of Rifleman L CROSSLEY C/12391, 21st Bn., King's Royal Rifle Corps who died on 30 June 1916 Remembered with honour BERKS CEMETERY EXTENSION Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I've been AWOL on a protracted week long missing person search with the mountain rescue team (my other activity!).
