Just got this photograph emailed to me by a friend of the Belfast branch of the Old Contemptibles parading though Belfast.

Nice pic - looks like 1930s? Going past City Hall?

I must ask my mother where the Athletic Stores was - that would pin the location down (Wellington Place or Donegall Square North?) - but has to be somewhere around the City Hall. Looking at the ages of them - wouldn't it put them in the late 1930's or possibly even the 1940's?

All,

Perhaps even the late 1940's or early 1950's considering the age of the gentlemen?

Regardless, it is a fantastic and great quality photograph!

Thanks for posting it.

Ian.
