Memorial: BROOKWOOD (UNITED KINGDOM 1914-1918) MEMORIAL

Woking Crematorium

My thanks to Mark Hifle for his assistance with this case

Having finally got the answer from Woking Crematorium it appears at present his name will remain on Brookwood 1914-18 Memorial as the ashes were removed by his wife who was at the time of his death resident in Richmond Surrey. This location has been checked for the burial of the ashes in the local authority cemeteries with no result. There is at present no evidence of the ashes being returned to Canada.
