I'm looking for some information on the 1st/5th Bn KOYLI for the 3rd of July 1916.

Does anyone have access to a copy of the Bn war diary.

I need to know where they were and if they took part in an attack on that day.

Yes they were involved they had relieved two coys of 1/4th York and Lancs in Area of A 17,18,19 of German Lines in the afternoon of 3rd July.North of Thiepval wood.

They were attacked by German troops on the afternoon of 4th July.
