Death Plaque

I have a death plaque and am intrigued by the foundry marks. What does the '86' near the lion's hind leg signify? and under it's front paw the letters (barely readable) CKD mean?

On the reverse the Foundry mark is A superimposed on W in a circle. Any info on this?

For CKD I presume you mean ECP :huh: - these are the initals of Edward Carter Preston, who designed the plaque:

The foundry mark is for the Woolwich Arsenal.

It's a batch number - took me a while to find it, but this very old thread by Memorial Plaque expert and former GFW member Pete Wood mentions it in passing:
