rflory Posted 21 September , 2009 Share Posted 21 September , 2009 28th Bde, RFA landed at Landrecies on 20 Aug 14 as part of the 5th Divisional Artillery. It took part in the retreat from Mons and in the Battle of LeCateau on 26 August 1914. If you would like to know more I would suggest finding copies of the following books: (1) Narrative of the 5th Divisional Artillery 1914-1918 by Brig-Gen A H Hussey; and (2) The Royal Regiment of Artillery at Le Cateau, 26 August, 1914 by Major A F Becke, RFA.
