Richard Rossington Posted 20 September , 2009 Share Posted 20 September , 2009 I am trying to get more details on the Glenshiels Military Hospital. Sergeant Frank Augustus Kerry's WO364 unburnt papers show he was in admitted there for three days 21-24 June 1915 as a "collapse" "done up from prolonged hours" Sgt. Kerry was in the 27th Reserve Battalion Royal Fusiliers then 103rd Training Reserve Battalion - both stationed, I understand, in Edinburgh. He went off on attachment in 1917 to the Kings African Rifles. There is a place called Glenshiels in Invernesshire, but I suspect this is a big house or suchlike, possibly in the Edinburgh area. Not seen it on the existing lists on this topic.
