Liam Posted 18 September , 2009 Share Posted 18 September , 2009 A colleague of my wife's at the BBC is coming over to do some filming at the Menin Gate on November 11th Obviously that will be a very busy day and he was hoping to get close to the front to be able to get some decent footage I'm not sure whether this is possible but could he perhaps formally reserve a spot or is it a case of getting there early? If that is still the case it may be better for your friend to pass his request via a forum pal; particularly one of those living in Ieper or visiting shortly. The problem may have been resolved by now but I haven't seen any report to say that. I would hate for your friend to pick up a web virus as a result of info recieved from this forum.
