Patrick Watt Posted 13 September , 2009 Share Posted 13 September , 2009 Hi everyone I have a British War Medal and Victory Medal for a 22767 WKR I.M. Fraser, QMAAC. Does anyone know exactly what the QMAAC would have been doing during the war and if any records survive? I take it she would have had to have servd in France to have received these medals, am I correct? Yours hopefully Patrick Watt

Sue Light Posted 14 September , 2009 Share Posted 14 September , 2009 Patrick Few QMAAC service records survive, but there is one for an Isabella Marguerite Fraser available for download from The National Archives, a total of 38 pages, so it looks as though you might be lucky Isabella Fraser service record Sue
Patrick Watt Posted 15 September , 2009 Author Share Posted 15 September , 2009 Jim and Sue Thanks very much for this info. I now have a much clearer picture of what happened in the QMAAC. Sue - the Isabella Fraser on the TNA website is not the right one unfortunately. Back to the drawing board!! Thanks again Patrick
