Four Servicemen

I'd be grateful for any help confirming the regiments of these men.

The fine looking telegraphist in the middle is my grandfather. I'd like to confirm my suspicions of who the soldiers are.

Cheers,

IPT

The cap badge of the man on the right looks like Royal Engineers. The bloke on the left is Royal Flying Corps/RAF ... looks like he has the rank badge of a 1st Class Air Mechanic.

I'd go with that as well and the second picture looks like Middlesex regiment.

What's the family name? (Please don't say "Smith", "Jones" or "Johnson"!). It's a long shot, but we might be able to triangulate using the 1901 census, and then checking MICs.

Thanks all for the responses. You've confirmed my suspicions.

Michael, i'm kind of coming backwards from the medal cards, and putting faces to the names if you see what I mean. This confirms that the sapper and the Middlesex man were two of my grandad's brothers. The RFC man must have been a friend. Although there was a fourth brother, Sam Haslehurst, who lived through the war, I can't find any service record for him.

Thanks again.
