fotonix Posted 7 September , 2009 Share Posted 7 September , 2009 I wonder if anyone knows where 'Hill Top' was in the war? I have a citation for a DCM, where the action in question is scribbled in the margins as having taken place 20 and 21 April 1916 at this Hill Top. It may be of help to know that man was in the 20th Divl. Amm. Col., R.F.A. Any ideas or firm information gratefully received! J.

mebu Posted 7 September , 2009 Share Posted 7 September , 2009 PS 20th Div history says that they left this sector for a months rest mid April, the Divisional Artillery held a horse show on 12th April.
fotonix Posted 7 September , 2009 Author Share Posted 7 September , 2009 That's brilliant! I owe you a bottle of beer or a flight if you're ever around Anglesey, in which case you can PM me! Thanks very much indeed, J.
