I think this is a No.80 without ring. But what is N49? And what purpose does the ring that you can reel off (the last photo is my No.80)?

Hi,

Just wondering if the middle fuze in the picture can be identified? Would love to know what it was part of.

It has printed on it - Alco Lot 1159 ( could be 1759) and is approx 6cm high and 6cm wide at its widest point. One of the rings or bands is orange and has a symbol and either 26 or 25 on it.

Any information on it or the other two in the pic would be greatly appreciated. ( didnt get the measurements for the other two and due to their condition and lack of time I couldnt see if anything was printed on them unfortunately)

Cheers

Sharon

Looks like a French Schneider 24/31 or 24/31 Mle 1899.

Could it not be Mle 1889-1908 Which as you know looks almost identical but a different colour. Unlees that is the 'Schneider' but unfortunately I don't have references to that.

Correction:

Fuse on the right in post nr.86 is a Saint-Chamond
