gnr.ktrha Posted 7 August , 2009 Share Posted 7 August , 2009 How big is the badge? The reason I ask is it is unusual for Artillery badges to have a Slider and Lug attachments on the back. I have only seen this on one Artillery badge and it was an Officers Beret badge C.1950. Regards, Stewart
max7474 Posted 7 August , 2009 Share Posted 7 August , 2009 That is a Royal artillery cap badge but in the reduced size for the beret dating from the late 1940s or early 1950s. The RGA/RFA in WW1 was the same design but bigger and with a single slider.
