Hi Simon

my wife is trying to find out information about her uncle

Private SJ Bowen 10285

 

hecwas in the 1st KSLI and died on Feb 12th 1915 and is buried in cite de Bon jean in Armentieres. They were a huge family and he was the eldest. My wife,s father being younger was in WW2 landing on D day.

 

we think he went to France at the onset of hostilities but would welcome and real facts. Regards
