navyman Posted 1 August , 2009 Share Posted 1 August , 2009 Hello all, I have a WW1 Citron Foug grenade shell and wish to make a repro fuse/ignition set for display. I've made the wooden plug and have an, (inert), det and short piece of, (inert), fuse crimped to it. I've been unable to find a drawing of the striker mechanism to reproduce. Can any of our experts let me know what it looks like? The attached picture is all I have to go on so far. Many thanks for any help, Best regards, Groger. Sorry, but for some unknown reason I'm unable to upload the picture despite the fact that it's only 39.3 KB. Had the same problem yesterday, every time I try to upload an image, regardless of size, I get the same result.....'Upload failed the file was larger than the available space....2.04 MB of 2MB'. The uploads work fine on other military forums. Help!
