I just read my mother's version of my grandfather's WW1 experience. "He also told us some of the funny names they used to have for the trenches, such as Flea Hill and others". I've Googled 'Flea Hill' and got zero response. Was this just a generic term for the general condition of the trench soldier or was this an invention of my grandfather? Best regards, Ron.
