andrew pugh Posted 13 July , 2009 Share Posted 13 July , 2009 Hi Auchonvillerssom. Would you say that the surname Glew was a common name or uncommon because I have been trying to research a fella called Walter Glew, (Cpl) Service number 3497 was serving in the 24th Bn Royal Fusiliers killed 24/03/1918. Could this chap Walter have been related? who knows,as I cannot find anything about him where he came from, no service records ect. Best Regards Andy. It is a relatively unusual name in SDGW which would presumably be reflected countrywide. heres your mans card. Mick
