George Robert Bailey 117213 and 54218

George Robert Bailey served in the 2nd Royal Warwicks No 117213. In May 1918 he moved to Sherwood Foresters No 54218.

Could someone kindly get his MIC for me please and possibly check if his records are on Ancestry.

His Grandson has the demob paper but some things do not add up! For example it states - No medals! The usual family mysteries by the looks of it.

I would be most grateful for the above and I can then hopefully sort things out for the chap.

Cheers

Beaten to it over the card!

The card gives him as George A Bailey but he does have records and they confirm the Robert.

Send me a PM if you want a copy of the records or if its just a bit of info I can look them up for you.

Many thanks chaps. Trust me to get one with no entry date! At least I know that he got medals and was probably a conscript and not a 2nd Bn Warwicks regular.

Although the Regimental numbers and order are the opposite of what he told me!

Jim I have PMd you.

Again my thanks.

Cheers
