My uncle a temporary Captain RAMC is shown in Guy`s Hospital records as being at War Hospital Norbury

during Great War

Does anyone know where the hospital was or anything about it?

One possibility is the Secondary Schools which were built in 1913-14 in Sanford Road, Norbury (Croydon). Before they could open war broke out so the buildings were used as a temporary hospital. The schools eventually opened after the war as Norbury Manor Secondary Schools. Approx 8 miles from Guy's.

The buildings were demolished in 1987 to make way for a sheltered housing complex. The site is close to where the Nat-West Bank Sports Ground used to be prior to residential development.
