Hi Andy,

Thanks for having a look on the names.

Frederick Lelliott D.C.M. gazetted 22/6/1915 died Ypres 24/5/1916 Rank CSM 1st Battalion, commerated on Menin Gate. I have his CWGC record.

Basil Lelliott, Died at Ypres 8/5/1915 rank L/Cpl, also on Menin Gate. I also have his CWGC record. Anything that you can find out about those two would be great.

What dates can you go back to on the KRR Lancaster Regt?

Thanks again Andy

Regards

Mike

My Great Granfather would have been with them, Ralph Ryan 14/5/1915

Northern Soul - I see you have a copy of The Story of a Royal Regiment - volume 3.  I have been trying to get a copy for ages that is affordable!  My uncle died at Les Moeres during Operation Dynamo, and was in Company C of the 8th Battalion assigned to BCHQ.  I believe a Captain John Henry Everett was in command of Company C and he was MiD in December 1940 and he gets a mention in the book - would dearly love to know what the mention is.
