Trying to research my Great Uncle's history in the forces. It appears his records have been destroyed. I do know he served in the 8th Bn. and died 23/03/18 buried at Tyne Cot. He was Company Sgt. Major. Previously he had served with the York&Lancs Rgt. 8962.

I was wondering if anyone had access to the war diaries for the KOYLI for the period to ascertain whether he is mentioned?
