As the anniversary once again comes upon us, I thought that those who have not seen this poignant video may get something out of it.

Hope link worked (I am techtarded).

Cheers,

Blair

Hi Blair,

thanks for the link. Great footage and "haunting" music to go with it. We will remember them.

Thanks for the link, Blair... I wonder what happened to the man waving his helmet cheerily at the camera in a marching line of serious looking mates - hope he made it. After watching it I looked at a couple of the others on the page -the shell shock ones. I'd never seen real footage of it before, kind of makes you lost for words, doesn't it. Particularly the Shell Shock Verdun one, the young man with the wide, frightened eyes... I'm a mum and I know just how I'd be feeling if my boy came home like that.

Thanks for reminding us...

Hazel

Thanks for the links to this footage .. can't say anything that would be remotely relevant in the light of such moving scenes. May they all rest in peace.

I to, looked at the juanty lad waving his lid. Hope he was alright, along with all his mates.

I suspect though, they were not.
