Did the Royal Fusiliers have a Bantam Battalion ? I've checked the parent site and can't find anything.

One of the men from the village was in the Royal Fusiliers and his medal roll reference is BAN TP/104B2. without checking the roll, I wondered whether the BAN referred to a Bantam Bn.

I agree with Chris's suggestion, looking through some bits & bobs from a few years ago a lad I researched up at kew had a similar medal roll reference and he was in the 26th (Bankers) Battalion - I have never come across any reference to a bantams battalion in the Royal Fusiliers most of the original draughts had a B/ prefix on their service numbers as well if its any help.

Among my medal collection I have two groups to the Bankers Battalion of the Royal Fusiliers, both of them original men with the 'B' prefix.

Their medal roll ref is: "BAN TP/104 B/63"; so this would confirm your man was an original member of the Bankers Bn as well.

All of the BAN TP/104 roll is contained in WO329/801.

Hope this helps.
