larney Posted 26 June , 2009 Posted 26 June , 2009 Hi Pals, Just enquiring on the off-chance if anyone out there has a photograph of 2nd Lieutenant Charles Vincent Todman, who was acting as Observer to Lieutenant Percy West when they were shot down by Paul Billick on 3 August 1918? (He is on my village War Memorial at Laugharne). Charles also served in the 9th and 10th Battalions of the London Regiment prior to transferring into the RAF, with 16 Squadron. Many thanks, Steve.
Hambo Posted 28 June , 2009 Posted 28 June , 2009 Steve I notice from the website with the details of him on that he had a BA. I don't suppose you know where he went to school or university? If you do, it could be a potential source. Shame he was an observer or he may well have been on ancestry
larney Posted 28 June , 2009 Author Posted 28 June , 2009 Hi Hambo, Thanks for the suggestion, I'm not sure where he studied. I'll have a trawl through my information to see if there is any note of it. (Didn't think of that!) Steve.
