Richard Matlock Posted 26 June , 2009 Author Share Posted 26 June , 2009 well that has rather blown me away , that he is KIA thanks for this and the MIC. Are we saying then that he joined as soon as he was 17 and was killed when he was 18 , also why would he have 2 regimental numbers ?. And last but not least does anyone know what the regiment where doing at the time of his death ? not lastly actually can anyone do anything on ancestry and the census i would like to see where he was from. So many thanks again Rich M
Simon Birch Posted 26 June , 2009 Share Posted 26 June , 2009 Ancestry: 1901 census: PM me with your e mail address; I will send you a copy of the page you need - it has some details on age etc that you should see. Suspect that he stayed in KOYLI but have no idea why he changed numbers.
