cypresslodge Posted 25 June , 2009 Share Posted 25 June , 2009 Found another one with more questions for me than answers Pte William Percy Smith - Cheshire Reg 43485 and Koyli 64748 Even though his MIC states his KOYLI number as 64748, his marriage cert has it down as 67748. Not sure which is correct. Again any information regarding Btn, service etc would be great. This is one of my grandfathers and even though he survived the war my elderly father never met him and knows very little about him so it would be great if I could get something from the experts here I know he was born in Dukinfield in 1895 and that he married my grandmother in 1918 ( have the certs) and that he remarried in 1929 but due to the abundance of Smiths out there I know little else for certain. Would be great to know what he did during WW1 Thanks Sharon
