Remembered Today:

Shreeve & Duncalf: 2 'new' ancestors

Hello all,

I recently visited my grandfather back in England, and learnt about two more ancestors who were involved in WW1.

I fully realise that this is a very, very long shot but I was wondering if anyone might have some information on them, seeing the knowledge bank of this forum is so powerful.

1. Sidney Shreeve. Reputed to be in a Lancer regiment and wounded during the battle of Mons.

2. Percival/Percy Duncalf. Reputed to be in the Rifle Bde and captured at Passchaendale.

And that's all I know at present. I did check CWGC and they don't appear.

I'll patiently wait for their MICs to be put up on the PRO website, assuming they've survived, but thought it might be worth asking the forum.

Any help will be most welcome.

Regards,

Matthew Camp
