Is this unusual ? two Family members ( Father And Son )on the same CWGC stone,one lad D/17816 Pte.J.Corrigan Scottish Horse d-06/01/1919 and 947720 Sergeant W.Corrigan R.A.F.17/12/1943,took this pic a few months back at Balgay.

not at all unusual in the UK, particularly if they were related. I believe it was a common practice near military hospitals.

This is a photo from Dundonald , Northern Ireland.

Hi David thanks for that I just thought it strange,with the Father in WW1 and the Son in WW2 but as you say it is next to the Hospital.

I wonder if the bodies of the 3 Mochrie brothers who died on the same date with different regiments were found, if all 3 would have been in the same grave in Dud Corner. Does anyone know to 3 relatives within the same grave,
