Guest QUISONTILS Posted 17 June , 2009 Share Posted 17 June , 2009 Hi, Could anybody have a look on microform in National Archives of Kew. I reseach the rank for a man. I know the name, the official N° in first corp, this official N° in the second corp and the date of his transferred. I understand I can't have a look by line; Thanks. per ardua per mare per terram Posted 19 June , 2009 Share Posted 19 June , 2009 Welcome to the forum, You can request a copy of his record using the UK National Archive shop online facility: http://www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/recordc...ce=ddmenu_shop3 The AIR 76 records are in alphabetical order on microfilm. His army records (including the RFC) are seperate documents. Btw AIR 76 are for officers; if you're looking for an other rank their records are in AIR 79, these are in number order. Copies can also be bought using the shop online facility.
