Guest Posted 16 June , 2009 Share Posted 16 June , 2009 I don't, yet, that is. The medals belong to the Nephew, now in his 90's. I will find out if he has any more items, am going to meet him soon and have a 'craik'. I think the medals were in New Zealand for a while, so not sure if he has anything else. Look forward to meeting him. Cheers Mike

Guest Posted 17 June , 2009 Share Posted 17 June , 2009 Sorry Gary. It's not deliberate , Honest! They really are as good as new. The good thing is, they are all still in the family, I have them up to 3 o'clock today. They are back in the box, where they have been for 90 yrs. Sadly Donald McLean never got to wear them. Nigel Marshall Posted 18 June , 2009 Share Posted 18 June , 2009 I never tire of seeing Great War medals, and these are great Great War medals! As Scottie says, I too hate to see medals, plaques and scrolls split from each other. I have my great uncle Syd's medals, while a second cousin in Australia has his scroll (and it is in wonderful condition), and where the Plaque is, is anyone's guess! Thanks for posting Mike. Cheers, Nigel
David B Posted 19 June , 2009 Share Posted 19 June , 2009 Hi Mike, there really really nice, about on a par with my g/fathers. Basically they were never out of their box until I inherited them and had them mounted under glass. Would take a photo only the glass reflects on the camera David
