Further info from Ancestry:- 1901 Census looks like he was the son of Edwin and Mary A Davies born 1894 (it has his birthplace as Merle Brace Shropshire) 1911 Census has him living Church Stretton Shropshire. Ralph.

I can only echo what has been already said. If it is the chap from Leebotwood, i have photographs of two memorials he's on.

Still to go to Shawardine.
